Subject: If it's Not . . .
Psychadelic, it doesn't miss by much. Outstanding, takes you back a point where all such music did not have to include the Joshua Light Show (if you've got the years, you can understnd this).

Subject: I believe these guys cut a studio album
No need to bash these guys, 'bbob', this is killer. I also agree that there are no cheesy gd sets. I am pretty sure the cd that I have of these guys is a studio album, although there are only 3 shows listed, I suspect they played more than that. You gotta love california!

Subject: Fake Xero = Real Magic!!!
The first track, Fake Xero, absolutely soars. Same goes for Sleepwalk. Friggin' Beautiful! Excellent sound quality, too.

what a moron...how are you gonna like P+f, Moe., or SCI and not like this stuff? Oh, and by the way -- there is no such thing as a cheesy grateful dead set from any era. period, bwoy...there are some bad AUD recordings, but that's it, homes

Review for "The Thrill Is Gone"

I love this song, and all the different versions. This is quite different from all the others I've heard, and is very interpretive. Very well done, and well worth the listen.

Subject: A Diamond in the Rough
I've never heard of this particular collaboration of musicians, and if it weren't for the word psychedelic in the title, I never would have. Why isn't this show listed under Kimock where people can find it? or Henry Kaiser? Does anyone know how long this cicus lasted or if it was a one-time jam thing? Was there a special occasion? I thought I'd heard everything Kimock had done, but man this is good.

Subject: perspective
It has been unfairly leveled that this show is for old people and by old people. What the hell is that? You like Phil and Friends, Bob? How old is Jimmy Herring?
My point is that this guitar circus is indeed psychedelic, and it deserves some attention. New, inventive treatments of classics like BB King's "Thrill is Gone" are always welcome; young and old take a listen. Both are in for a little surprise.

Subject: Not Psychedelic
guitars for older folks, played by older folks. If you know the songs or are reading the Sunday Times, this show is for you. If ou were looking for something colorful, go to SCI, Phil, or Moe.

The sound is okay but thin, sounds like those cheesy sbd's from the Dead in the early 80's.

Don't mean to sound harsh here, but the band name is just so misleading...

Amazing groups of musicians and great recording (considering it is analog sourced). If noting else, check out their version of Sleepwalk.
